“While visiting my parents in Detroit, I was startled to see the home I grew up in no longer maintained. The rafters were showing and I feared my father would not notice needed repairs in time to prevent injuries. The time I spent helping them find a new home and getting them settled was truly a joy. At the same time I realized many families do not have the flexibility to drop everything and travel to care for their loved ones. I love to ‘be there’ with your loved ones for you when you can’t be there for yourself.” ~ Adero

“Family is important to me. When my Mom called because Dads’ health was failing I was able to drop everything and be there for her. They had planned ahead and were already living in an Age in Place community. So many people are not prepared for the situations life throws their way. I love helping families put their plans in place.” ~ Amy
